UAF Tuition Assistance Program
Families who face difficulties paying the full tuition fees may apply for the UAF Tuition Assistance Program through the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). The Financial Aid Committee is responsible for determining all Financial Aid awards. UAF requires families who apply for Financial Aid to complete the online Family Financial Aid application through the FAST website and mail all required documents. Please note: A family’s financial situation may change, it is necessary to apply for aid each year.
The Tuition Assistance application is due May 31, 2019. There is a $45 non-refundable processing fee required by FAST. Upon recommendation from FAST, the Scholarship Committee decides on the eligibility of applicants and the amount they receive. Due to a limitation of funds available, tuition assistance and amount given will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, parents who received tuition assistance previously but did not fulfill their financial obligations to UAF, will not be granted any tuition assistance. Finally, receipt of tuition assistance in previous years does not guarantee an award or an award with the same value for this year.
