AP Psychology Summer Assignment

Please note that AP Psychology is an elective, college-level course with higher student expectations than most courses taken by high school students. AP Psychology also deals with course material and content at the college level, which at times may require maturity from students beyond that which is typically expected at the high school level. In order to help you prepare for the rigor and maturity required to be successful in this course, all students must complete the following summer assignment.

Assignment: Read Brain Rules: (Updated and Expanded) 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School by John Medina.

This book touches on a number of concepts, theories and issues that we will address throughout the year. There will be a 70 question test on the book on third day of class, this test will be weighted the same as the other chapter tests during the semester.

Enjoy your summer!
