As Salamu Alaikum UAF Falcons!
My name is Abeer Mahmoud and I am your School Counselor. I graduated high school from UAF in 2005. I earned my BA in Sociology from USF and completed my masters in School Counseling at NOVA Southeastern University. My certification in counseling allows me to work with students at all levels, from elementary school to high school, and it entails counseling, guiding, and assisting students with achieving their academic goals as well as their social-emotional learning. I find it a great pleasure to work with students of all ages and help them with gaining their necessary skills to be successful in school and in their daily lives! Al Hamdulilah, I am grateful to be working with such an amazing team and wonderful community.
