Once children are approved and a deposit has been paid, families who face difficulties paying the full tuition fees may apply for the UAF Tuition Assistance Program through the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST). The Financial Aid Committee is responsible for determining all Financial Aid Awards based on specific eligibility criteria to include:
• Family Income
• Academic Performance
• Discipline Record
• Grade level
• Tuition Payment History
• Non-UAF Scholarship
UAF requires families who apply for Financial Aid to complete the online Family Financial Aid application through the FAST website and mail all required documents. Please note: As a family’s financial situation may change, it is necessary to apply for aid each year.
The Tuition Assistance application is due May 29, 2020. There is a $45 non-refundable processing fee required by FAST. Upon recommendation from FAST, the Financial Aid Committee decides on the eligibility of applicants and the amount they receive. Due to a limitation of funds available, tuition assistance and the amount given will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. In addition, parents will be required to volunteer for at least 20 hours per year. Parents who received tuition assistance previously but did not fulfill their financial obligations to UAF will not be granted any tuition assistance. Finally, receipt of tuition assistance.
For students in PK-4 only. Students must be 4 years old by September 1st and must be Florida
