Scrabble meets American Sign Language Club (ASL) is a club where students will have the opportunity to play scrabble and learn American Sign Language (ASL) skills. Scrabble encourages students to work together and helps them develop patience, vocabulary, spelling, and an interest in making words, In Sha’Allah. In addition to this, ASL teaches our students another language, as well as how to communicate with the deaf community, and our deaf Muslim brothers and sisters, In Sha’Allah.
Grade Levels: K-6 Grade
8 Sessions: October 5, 12, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 30, December 7 (No session on October 19 and November 23)

UAF’s Boys Basketball camp will help develop individual basketball skills and teach the students fundamentals of basketball such as shooting, dribbling, passing, defense, and more! This is a great opportunity for our students to come together in a safe and environment to learn the game, stay active, build confidence and improve their skills! Our expert coach Br. Abdulaziz Sultan aims for the students to improve specifically in the areas they need, whether they are new to the game or highly skilled, while helping them build confidence to succeed both on and off the court!
Grade Levels: Grades 3-6 (Boys Only)
Meeting time: Wednesdays 3:30pm-4:30pm (Outdoor Basketball Court) & Saturdays 9:30am-10:30am (UAF Gymnasium)

Homework Club is an after school program for grades K-5. The purpose of Homework Club is to provide guidance and care, in a quiet environment, for students to complete their homework. Students will be placed into groups according to their grade levels. Professional teachers will be available each day to assist the students with their homework.
Grade Levels: K-2 (We are at capacity for rest of the grades)
Meeting Time: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
Meeting Time: 3:30pm-5:00pm
The program is available starting October 3- December 8 every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday except the following dates: October 19, November 14, 21, 23 & 24.
A student who is absent from school due to illness may not attend that day.
Students are expected to come prepared with work to complete and not disrupt others. A student whose behavior disrupts the learning environment may be dismissed from the program.
Parents or guardians may request to early release their child.
All students must be picked up by 5:00pm. Late fee of $1 per minute will apply if student is not picked up on time.

“Bring out your artistic side and learn how to make jewelry!”
The jewelry making club is a fun opportunity to learn a new skill. Sr. Fatima will be teaching the students how to make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. Students will learn the basics on jewelry making which includes beading, stringing, and weaving.
Grade Levels: Grades 5-8

¿Cómo estas? Means "How are you?" in Spanish!
Come join us as we teach your child basic communication skills in Spanish, In Sha'Allah. Students will learn how to greet each other, learn vocabulary, play games, perform short skits, etc.
