Life at the Universal Academy of Florida (UAF) is filled with opportunities for students and their families. We believe that each student contributes directly to our institution’s growth and success, and we hope you will take pride in being a member of our student body.
Our mission at Universal Academy of Florida is to teach our students the principles and practices of Islam and to prepare them for academic success and good citizenship.

Community Service

Giving in Charity to different causes and service to the community is promoted throughout the year. Our students actively participate in community service initiatives, embodying the Islamic principle of helping those in need.Counseling Services.

Salah On Campus

All students pray Zuhr prayer together in congregation. We encourage students to take moments for reflection and supplication, fostering a strong connection with their Creator.

Student Activities

Students at Universal Academy of Florida participate in a wide range of extracurricular activities, including athletics, student organizations, and volunteer projects. We take pride in providing a variety of activities that allow students the opportunity to explore their personal interests and cultivate their unique talents.

Social Emotional Resources

The counseling department at UAF focuses on enhancing the mission statement through social, emotional, behavioral, and academic practices. We are committed to bringing the best out of each student and encouraging them to grow personally and spiritually.

  • Elementary

    In elementary, we focus on various character building skills that are incorporated into daily lessons through social and emotional works. We follow a multi-tiered system of support to better suit the students’ needs. Tier 1 focuses on all students through classroom lessons with regards to school wide programs. Tier 2 is all about group work. It incorporates small group counseling or social skills groups. Finally, Tier 3 is an intensive instruction and intervention tier which translates to 1 on 1 counseling. This tier system allows us to incorporate exactly what is needed to assist the student with social and emotional development. Our counseling department in elementary meets where the child currently stands and works with them to inherit essential qualities of character to create a strong foundation.

  • High School

    Counseling in high school plays the part of a ladder. It is essentially a stepping stone that students take every year to lead them to their future education goals and career paths. Our counseling department will work closely with administration and students to support and assist whilst students navigate through their educational journey and create skills to work through emotional, social, and personal barriers."

  • Middle School

    The middle school mission at UAF is to support and assist students transitioning from elementary school and continue to support and prepare them for high school. A large aspect consists of developing various techniques to ensure the lessons of responsibility and the importance of good character are met through their academic, personal, social, emotional, and spiritual goals.

Founded in 1992, UAF is a private Islamic school for boys and girls in Daycare to Grade 12. Combining academic excellence while promoting Islamic understand and practices. UAF aims to produce bright students who are conscious of Allah and who maintain Islamic character and high academic standards.
